It's surprising to me how few people have taken the time to look at what happened with TCU's season last year and realize that.

Oh I realize it. However if you look at what we lost last year, including a game changing heisman candidate, an all American tackle, and various other starters to injury, along with breaking in a guy that had hardly taken a snap since 2010, all while finishing with only one loss in the west, I don't see Patterson as being this genius he is made out to be. First season in a decent conference and won 7 games. They just don't scare me if we come prepared and hungry. The media has taken care of the hunger part. Les, Cam, and Chavis will take care of the prepared part.

No doubt we did very well considering the circumstances, other than the bowl game. I think that is the one thing that has people so down on LSU this year. It's a fact that bowl performance has a lot to do with the perception of a team going into the next season. Why we decided not to show up for ours is a mystery to me.

Considering what he had to work with, he did a very good job last year.

Against an unusual amount of adversity, and was very competitive in four of the six losses.

Nobody is scared of them. LSU should win. I think most people think that.

One would hope, but we will really have no idea until we see it. The defense has to replace a lot of people, but our recruiting and past history suggest that that is a manageable challenge for LSU. The offense, as always, is a question mark. A problem that has persisted for five years, I won't believe it's fixed until I see it's fixed.
