Reaching for QBs, more often than not, hampers your team in the long run over a season IMO. I've

it could.

but the guy who picked Brees in the first round also made it to the championship.

he also had Adrian Peterson, who Brees also outscored by the way. And that is saying something considering how phenomenal AP's season was last year.

Who NO ONE expected to have such a monster year. That's the only reason the guy made it into the championship. Before the season, people assumed, at best, he would do half of what he did.

Going into the draft, no one thought AP would be the best RB of the season. Hindsight is always 20/20. It's true. Sometimes you get lucky and get 2 guys who are about to have the best fantasy season of their lives. But you can't expect that.

A big component of FF is luck. We all know that. I just have the opinion (this being my 10th year playing FF), that drafting RB first allows you the best chance of being successful.

Just like betting hard on pocket aces will give you your best chance of winning at poker. Sure, sometimes the guy you're sitting across the table from hits a set of 4s, but more often than not, you have the advantage.

Charles, Rice, or Megatron.

If you take a RB then load up on WR the next few rounds unless you can get Jimmy Graham on the way back.
