his tim berg stuff is amazing, i was so pissed he only played one track during his set, the rest was the new stuff he is trying and no one is feeling it. This track is actually really old he debuted it at Ultra Miami where he got promptly booed

Right, but a studio version of a track can sound a lot better than an initial offering in a live set, yes? And the studio version has been out for like three weeks in the states. Not terribly old.

He got booed at Ultra because people want to hear stuff they're familiar with. Most people are sheep. They were waiting for him to play levels or nicktim. It was the wrong place to drop completely new stuff. I think with something that's a substantial departure from the music you've been doing, that it's wise to drop it as a track before you feed it to the molly'd up candy raver girls. So busting it out when he did was probably a poor decision.

And to the extent your argument is "well the people at Ultra in Miami didn't like it, so it sucks", well then your argument falls flat. It's the fastest selling single of 2013. And, to be clear, I don't judge music by what others think of it. I mention the sales only as a response to the Ultra reaction.

yes for the masses who are not big into the scene, ask most people who go to shows and they hate it, but the song is great for pop stations

his set last weekend was bad though, everyone had this wtf look on their face and lots of his drops sounded pre recorded
