I wonder why they picked such a small venue? Wasn't the Mahalia Jackson Theatre show in May sold out?

Two nights of more intimate shows. From what I've heard Civic was renovated and designed for musicians benefit - stage, sound, lighting, etc.
For shows, it's going to hold over 1,000.
Looking forward to two nights with the Crowes.
