He is not a monster yet. He has a ton of potential and has a great attitude. Definitely tell he is the son of a coach. Seems like they did a good job raising the kid. Let's not forget he is 20.

Taking a break after practicing his street ballin' moves all day. Wants to make that crossover even better . . . but it's hard to improve on perfection.

This thread is awesome! I'm just pissed that I finished LSU years ago and won't be in the union to see Mr Blue get his arse kicked by champion.

Kind of.

This is why we can't have nice things If you aren't respecting other people's points enough to even read what they said, why should they respect your points? There's nothing wrong with coming to different conclusions after looking at the same set of facts, but if all we're doing is attacking "the other side", we're no better than the poliboard, and if we're no better than the poliboard...

Now let's slow down just a bit.

I knew I'd get crap for that

But if he improves his skill set then he will be one of the leaders of this team in a few years. He may not be the best player on our team. But that doesn't mean he cant be one of the faces of this franchise

AR's first move after every game was a beeline to Monty to figure out what he did wrong in the game.

What do you expect him to say? "We have 3 monsters in front of me on the depth chart, so I'm obviously not going to play this year"?

AR and J-Smoove getting hurt last year knocked out the 2 lil arrogant sumbiatches on our bench and you could actually tell a difference in our body language on the court. I love the attitude and the hustle. It's typically contagious.

After going 5/7 from the line last night, Rivers is up to 67% from the FT line in Summer League Only 20% from 3 though

Don't you need to wear a tin foil hat before entering the Poli board?

I haven't hung out regularly on there in years, but from what I've seen they are usually pretty harsh on conspiracy theorists unless the conspiracy is about Obama.

I like this board the best. It is fun to occasionally go into the OT and frick with people.

I think he can a franchise player in the sense that he just stays on our team until we dump him. Seems like he really likes Monty and the pelicans organization as a whole. I can see him turning into a legit bench player who is capable of solid contribution with ~18 mins a game. He won't be a star, but could be a staple of the peli-squad for years to come.
