I'm also going to give it a try in a couple of weeks for the first time. I was told the west side of the pass. West side by the bridge? Halfway from bridge to gulf? Right at the gulf by Elmer's ? Which area should I focus on? Thanks.

launch at bridgeside, or others, go under the bridge. if you're going towards the gulf, head to the right bank. you'll see other boats.
