Exactly. Not really a comparison to NOLA, which I love by the way. Also - there were several restaurants in ATL to chose from that really looked inviting. Just light years ahead of where ATL was around the turn of the century. I think that point has been pretty well documented, not just my opinion. I think the cause is a new generation of chefs coming into their own and taking risks to craft restaurants/menus that they want. The fact that this could happen in ATL makes me excited for what can happen (potentially) in my hometown. There are a lot of younger folks coming back to Houma and they seem to not be satisfied with what's here now (a lot of chains, a a few fine dining establishments.) I'm hoping this crew makes something happen albeit on a smaller scale.

Definitely. Atlanta has come a long way the past 5-10 years, there is no denying that.
