if the water is clean you can catch specks on the beaches.
bullreds have officially made their way into the pass. anchor out on the west side of the pass, chunk a cracked crab and hang on

I will be in a small (15 ft) bass boat. So I may be limited

Jimbeam - Taking the family down to GI this weekend. Will target specks in the am early but want to try to get them on a red or two. I hear this alot about reds in the pass but are they talking near the bridge, or actually near the gulf interface; middle, towards the banks or all of the above? Any tips would be helpful - never fished for bull reds like this. I assume cracked crab or a minnow on the bottom?? Thanks in advance for any help!
