Much more the latter. But as I said, I have very few expenses.
I'm single (as in not married), have no kids, car is payed off, no credit card or student loan debt, or any other debt, and I don't spend money on material possessions.
It's pretty easy to live off of a relatively small income when you don't throw money away.
