I chuckle at all the talk about fancy cc holsters.
I've been conceal carrying a Glock 27 for the last 10 years mostly using a cheap uncle mikes sidekick IWB holster. It's nothing more than a piece of cloth with a plastic clip to attach to your waistband.
Where it everyday and put on a regular leather belt to keep it snug to the body.

Same here. Single stack 9 and an Uncle Mike's is all you need. Easy on, easy off and only $15.

Most people have very different body types and are forced to wear clothing for work that may be difficult to conceal in. A holster that gives the user the most comfortable fit may be cheap or expensive or anywhere in between. I am glad you chuckle at folks trying to start concealing and laugh at their choice in gear.
Perhaps you are poor and jealous. What a man chooses to buy and carry is his choice and he uses it to protect his life. Most folks don't place a price on life or being comfortable.

It's good you're happy w/ your Uncle Mike's holster. I've had a number of Uncle Mike's holsters through the years, as well. In fact, my newest holster is an UM. I bought it to relplace my prior UM holster for a Taurus 22LR revolver; the plastic part that attaches the holster to the belt broke. That's ok since I got bout 20 years of use out of it.
Although I've got a number of holsters, I wouldn't call any of them fancy. I've been pleased w/ each one of them. That's the main thing w/ any tool: it should please the owner. OTOH, I don't read of many who cc regularly and long term using an UM holster If your UM pleases you and meets your needs, that's great. That's one of the good things about forums like this--we can share different thoughts and get differing opinions.
