Well, he is in the military - maybe he's a drill sergeant and is used to yelling all the time.

Don't know if you saw the news story last week, but just recently, the military (which this poster claims to be BTW) just went from ALL CAPS to proper case in their communications. Ironically, as they pointed out, the transitional message was...you guessed it...in ALL CAPS!
