pelinis best d was 06. we got torched in a few games in 05 and 07.

In the case of 05, the only one I think he was really torched in was the SECCG against UGA. I'll give him somewhat of a pass for the ASU and Tenn games because of the disruption from Katrina.

In 2007 we were really hampered by injuries. Dorsey's tailbone injury was a huge hit. Even when he was able to play through it, it still slowed him down. You could see in the BCSCG that once we were healthy again, it was like the defense that smothered Va Tech.

Pelini may not be a great head coach, but in my opinion, he is a great DC.
