definitely had something to do with it in 2010 for the Saints. We had guys miss that game or play with nagging injuries. Plus it was just the end of the long grind defending the title. Your team was the last to win it back-to-back and that was when... 2004?
I think the parity in the league is gaining more and more now.
A lot more games lost by a TD or less it seems like.

Yep. More and more money means more and more intelligence in the front offices. I think teams are also way more likely to cut a coach they don't think is pulling his weight.
