I hope the highly touted recruits that Johnny Jones has coming in learn something from this. If Tyrus had played for a coach like Jones who would have actually taught him something and he would have stayed for three years then he would actually have a better pro career and make more money in the long run.
As Tyrus has learned you have to be more than a great athlete. You have to have skills that hopefully you will stick around long enough in college to master.

The greatest college coaches have pure athletes with no skills get drafted all the time.

He has earned over $35 million in his career so if I was a recruit I wouldn't mind following in his footsteps.
