That rascally heathen Brad Wing getting a second chance...

quote:

The nasty stench that clung to him at LSU has followed to Philadelphia where the talented but troubled punter will try and boot away a stained reputation. His fate now lies in his big leg and what some have suggested is an even bigger head.

WTHell?

The transgressions? A fight, a shouting match with a coach and a failed drug test.

quote:

The 22-year-old Australian was arrested in 2011 for simple battery, engaged in a shouting match with McGaughey during a contest and was suspended for LSU's bowl game this year after a failed drug test.

Wing appears to be an angel relative to NFL standards.

The other knock on him? He's apparently confident and wants the spotlight? Who doesn't want a confident player?

And from some NFL retard, this quote:

quote:

"He's more interested in the length of his punts than the directional or actually being an NFL-type punter."
LINK

Did this Mr. Insecurity not watch Wing place about 87 punts inside the 20? Most of those inside the 10?!?

MJ says, You Geaux, Brad Wing! Take another one to the house in Philly!

If you can't see that wing is a head case prima Donna, you're blind. Wr's and db's can get away with this but not punters.

I hope he turns it around because when he's on, he's on.

The people who are "NFL" insiders are some of the most ignorant people on the planet

They literally see NOTHING other than what the coaches feed them. It's really foul. They want machines, not people

I blame his big head on the rant. All the memes, sig pics, threads, etc. Congrats rant, you ruined his career

The kid had some problems and he was known around campus for his douchebaggery.

I don't see how you can get in a shouting match with Coach Mcgaughey. He is super intelligent and a nice guy(maybe not on the practice field)

sounds like Manziel. Arrested in bar fight, full year suspension was reduced to nothing. Shouting then pushing assistant coach to the ground. High school senior year was arrested from underage drinking, giving police fake ids etc...

It's funny when it's Manziel, everybody is like "kids will be kids" anybody else is a tPOS.

He's a fricking punter.

Why would you get a raving lunatic when you could get a clean cut person.

Seriously, what is the difference between an average punter and the best punter? Maybe 2-3 yards per punt?

He's a punter, not a top flight WR. Teams aren't going to put up with his shite. And rightfully so. He wasn't nearly as good as he thinks he is last year.

But as you can see he had a better average his second year.

He had 5 more touchbacks and a few critical 20 yard punts that really fricked the team over. He is in a position that, in the NFL, does not have any room for error.

I consider him the best punter in the history of the program, and I hope he gets it turned around attitude-wise and grows into a man sooner rather then later, but let's not tell each other lies; he HATED being a college student, had a horrible sense of entitlement, a bad temper, and was not a "locker room guy". He walked the thin line the whole time he was at LSU.

Wing is battling against Donnie Jones and only one of them is making the roster so he better do all that he can
