If I remember right, that can had a pretty short shelf life which expired while the main cast was still getting chased around the island. I don't think anyone would have stumbled on to it in the middle of the dino exhibit where he ended up.

Nobody looking for DNA needs the canister because there are live dinosaurs running all over two different islands.

That sounds like a fan made plot. I still say either reboot the franchise, or make a prequel.

If I read the Poli. Board my heart rate will rise seeing all of the crap politicians do and I will never be able to sleep. I've learned to avoid that board because it just makes me angry knowing I can't do anything about it.

Maybe a female dino took a crap and sat on the can and it got in her business and resulted in mutated dinos!
