Ryan Anderson is the best stretch 4 it's not even close. He's the definition of the position. Splitter isn't some overwhelming talent that is going to continue to get better he is most likely already hitting his ceiling. Thats a lot of money to pay Splitter the dude gets blocked all the time.

He may be, but that doesn't mean the position is rare or more valuable than a center like Splitter.

And that ceiling is very valuable in the NBA.

He had a horrible finals, but he that doesn't make him a bad player

His biggest value might come on the defensive end, where he and Tim Duncan formed one of the more effective interior tandems in the NBA. The Spurs showed little improvement when those two played independently. When together, however, the Spurs allowed almost eight points fewer per 100 possessions with a mark that would have led the NBA over the entire season.

What's the value of this though? Seriously?
Guy can't defend, doesn't rebound well, but can knock down open 3s and he's tall. Dime a dozen?

ETA: Oh yea, and he isn't able to create his own shot.

I like how you posted a picture of him getting blocked by the best players in the NBA. An athletic freak. One of the best players ever. Like that's supposed to mean anything.
