Fresh off of most improved player in league and he is a rare talent being a stretch 4. Major difference just because of the position and he has so much more value than splitter.

Exactly, Splitter plays center, a position which NBA teams pay bank for, and gamble on every year, moreso than any other position.

Point is thiago splitter's contract is no surprise; only to the people on this board, is this a surprise.

Neither is Tyreke Evans.

Edit: you think Ryno has more value. The NBA thinks otherwise

Stretch 4s aren't that rare anymore. And I'm sure a lot of teams would argue a defensive center like Splitter is more valuable than a stretch 4.
