Since it isn't a huge anniversary then yeah, Stroubes would be fine. For me Bouselieu is not really special, kind of a general Tuesday night kind of feel.
aint a normal night for a college budget, but i get your point

Or hell, not even young. Just on a smaller budget than all the ballers out there.

We have all been there dude, Latils is pretty far up there for the occasion. Although Stroubes is about the same price if you are going all out.

Beausoleil is a great place, IMO. I can see where some of the other suggestions are a little more quiet and romantic, but if she's never been there, she will certainly be pleased. The dinner menu is impressive and the vibe can be fun.
Couple of good friends live in the subdivision across the street, so that's their normal drinking spot. I can see where they wouldn't consider it for an anniversary.. since they get drunk in there several times a week.
But it's a very impressive spot that can make for a great time. They do a good job on the cocktails too.. inform your GF of that if y'all go.
I have Maison Lacour and Latil's on my list of places to try, but being young like you, it will only happen for a special occasion and if finances allow. The tasting menu at Latil's is like $150/person. Obviously, you don't have to do the tasting, but if I'm going to make the drive someday, I want to have the spare money and go for the tasting menu.
