So much mad for posting objective fact.
eta. All I'm saying is if he went to BAMA it wouldn't be something that would be completely shocking and dumb on the kids part. If he came to LSU, he would be making a great decision also. Just saying I don't blame the kid if he thinks BAMA is the best decision for him. Recruitards need to grow the frick up when it comes to shite like this.

From a football fan perspective your assertion has some merit, but from the view of pedagogical teaching styles, it is a fact that teachers who use fear, humiliation, and intimidation to teach do damage to their students. Those motivations -- or the avoidance of same -- can be effective, but the damage to the human psyche is significant, especially the foundations of authentic self-esteem. Athletes who are attracted to this style are already afflicted with false foundations for their self-concept. It is fundamentally unhealthy. Saban has anger issues and no anger management skills. All students learn lessons quicker if their attention on the subject at hand is not split by irrelevant distractions -- like someone in their face angrily screaming at the top of their lungs. That is a simple fact. The athlete who seeks this out is already in psychological trouble and the last thing they truly need is a Saban. There are lots of people with flashy rings who are psychologically screwed. The student-athlete may be served athletically, the student, not so much.

Coaches like Dale Brown and Les Miles continue to be positive influences in their players' lives long after their playing days are over. Saban's style only offers negativity; when his players are done playing, there's nothing positive there because there never was. Looking at his ring as he browbeats his kids does not count.

Cam Robinson the football player may believe going to Bama is the best decision for himself. Like many decisions made by 17-18 year-olds, Cam Robinson the person will suffer the consequences of that unwise, unhealthy choice.

My problem isn't with a recruit, it's with people who post here and make statements like you did.

In the end if CR feels Bama is where he wants to be then it's his life and his choice and I respect that.
Talking shite on our coach and players on our recruiting board crosses a line that should never be crossed.
