TBF, Benzema basically fills the same role. He just offers a good bit more, provided he gives a shite. Whenever Isco and Benzema are on the field, they're moving into the same space.
Agreed. Benzema is a damned head case. He still shows why so many believe in him, but he still f´s up so damned much. So damned much.

In his defense, his movement has got much better, and he is pretty unselfish now. His movement has created a lot of goals for others. A lot.

He also defends, it´s pretty amazing, considering how he used to be.

He is most certainly a love/hate proposition.

Isco can do his magic from a wing, no doubt, but he needs latitude. I liked how Pellegrini used him at Málaga. Then again, he had no choice.

Yeah, I'm sure the logic of Roma perhaps being interested in Isco is that he could thrive in any combination of the front three. . . more on the wing when Totti plays false 9 or with Destro but also can play the same false 9 role as Totti.

Really, all the main cogs in Roma's front three (Totti, Destro, Gervinho, Ljalic, Florenzi) are pretty fluid as it is with the only static part being Totti not being asked to track back and defend on a wing though we're probably most lethal when Totti is starting the counter from our third.
