Travis Rice leads a gang of professional riders into the backcountry of Alaska, Wyoming, Chile, Patagonia, British Columbia and Colorado in an attempt to bomb the most hair raising and unchartered lines on Earth.

First of all, the scenery is grand. The film was shot in HD and it shows.

Absolutely breathtaking footage. It reminded me of a National Geographic production.

All the audio tracks are in Dolby Surround 5.1 and even though I didn't recognize one single tune, the tracks sound like studio recordings.

Other sounds include helicopter blades, snow being crushed and pushed around and the riders yelling in both joy and pain.

In every scene, Rice and crew take snowboarding to new heights.

It's insane that amount of progression that has taken place in the last ten years and this movie depicts that perfectly.

After watching the first five minutes, I wanted to go ride.

The film is mostly narrated by Rice himself. He's poignant, concise and quite humble.

The Art of Flight is truly incredible and now there is one less copy floating around Redbox.

I have it on blu-ray and it's probably one of my favorite movies. Also, check out That's it, That's All, their first big time HD film. It's quite an amazing film.
