I just hate that once again both consoles are pretty much the same. Nothing new and exciting IMO besides slightly better graphics and 64 man BF4 games both of which have been on PC for years.
And "better graphics" might take a few years to really shine through, wouldn't you think?

I disagree about the consoles being the same. They might have very similar hardware, but their software designs and intentions are much different.
Xbones entire structure is based on utilizing the Kinect and had a major focus on media with the whole Cable pass through and whatnot.
The PS4 has motion control, but isn't driven by it or completely focused on it. To me they are much more focused on just playing games.

This is a big reason I'm leaning towards PS4. They're not forcing you to use/have on the Kinect just to play games and any of the extra media capabilities that I just don't need. 100$ off the top is pretty awesome too. I know I'll get the oh but 100$ isn't a big deal for something you could have 5-7 years, but when you don't have a ton of extra play money, then it does.
On top of that, I feel like the PS4 will get more out of their hardware than the xbone will. You have to think Kinect and all of the other media options will take away computing power. Sony doesn't have/need all that so to me all of the RAM will go straight to gaming for a better performance
