Andrew Siciliano ?@AndrewSiciliano 3m

Sultan says Hernandez will suffer a "protracted loss of liberty" if denied bail as the trial will likely not take place for another year.

Ian Rapoport ?@RapSheet 3m

Sultan is slamming Boston PD for arresting Hernandez at his home and making a big show. Says that "wasn't because he was a flight risk"

Wesley Lowery ?@WesleyLowery 4m

Sultan: "They wanted to arrest him in his house, in front of his fiance & baby & to drag him out in cuffs in front of the media." #Hernandez

Ian Rapoport ?@RapSheet 6m

The argument by Sultan is because of the living situation, that he lives with his daughter/fiancee, owns a home, isn't a flight risk

Wesley Lowery ?@WesleyLowery 8m

#Hernandez attorney Jamie Sultan: We've seen no physical evidence, unclear if prosecutors have any.

The prosecution says there was a search of Hernandez's condo while Hernandez was in court, says they found .22 ammo there. That's new

Right. Hindsight is 20/20 and we don't really know everything that happened yet.

Yeah... This case might actually be indefensible. Hernandez is so fricked. If he gets away with this, I will have lost all faith in the American system.

Until they have a weapon it is defensible.

I love when the prosecutor refers to Hernandez's friends as confederates

Also the prosecutor looks and sounds like ZImmerman's defense attorney.

The prosecution mentions that Hernandez's fiancee has spoken to police, and says Hernandez called her and told her to stop talking. New too

Didn't know if he would ever have a shot at parole. I figured he wouldn't. I guess it's just mind-blowing to me that an athlete of this nature would commit 1st degree murder.

Judge to defense attorney: How do you square away you saying you don't want your client treated any different due to his celebrity status with your claim that a defendant charged with murder be entitled to bail?

Judge: "The Commonwealth have presented a case that (is) circumstantial, to be sure, but very, very strong."
