Jozy wouldn't be the player he is today without that spell at Hull. But a lot of people look only to the result and not process, and thus miss the big picture when it comes to player development.

Thank you. People shite on Jozy for his time at Hull, but this just shows me that they were only looking at wiki stats instead of watching the games. He was usually the most threatening looking player on the field. He only scored once in league play, sure, but he was 19 and hadn't gotten serious playing time over the year prior. Did y'all watch his games against Chelsea and Man City? He was awesome.

The biggest disappointment for me, as an American fan, in regards to Jozy's experience at Hull was his last game where he got sent off.

I watched a lot of those games when he was at Hull. My impression was that he wasn't really ready for the EPL yet, and though he really struggled for form, I think it was clear that he had the tools. That Hull team he came into was truly awful though, and his form was pretty weak at that time (I believe that loan was after the failed Xerez loan).

The only disappointing thing about Jozy head butting Allan Hutton was that he didn't make better contact.
