Went out of grand isle. Started off in bay near coup abel, was muddy. So we went to lake washington, water was better but not great but caught fish. Came back into barataria around 9 and fished in area of indapendance, water was nice. Could see trout streakin under water when reeling in. Had improved greatly from the early am.

Water by the barges at Fourchon was no bueno this morning. Marginally better to the West

I figured as much........ east side and I knew the water would straightened up closer to the Gulf sooner than where I was.
