Passive agressive burn there. Interesting choice, very feminine IMO.

I didn't tell them their music taste sucked I told all of you. Maybe you enjoy the womp, etc., so my opinion offends you, I don't really know what your taste is. but I have been engaging and told them in the conversations that it ain't my thing. How does that translate into telling them their taste in music sucks.

Exactly what was passive aggressive? I thought I was pretty direct.

You said you tell your friends if you think their music sucks...That's what I was referring to. I should have been more clear.

What I'm trying to say is that everyone has their own taste. It's a matter of opinion and it's stupid to tell people that they listen to shitty music, because they could probably say the same about you.

Do you have friends IRL? Do you give them shite? Are you more direct with them than you are strangers?

"friends" is the key word there. Friends give each other shite all the time because, well, they are friends and know that it doesn't matter.

Playing music out loud at work is terrible

Judging someone's music preference is also terrible. They could easily think you listen to horrible music.

they might, but I mean if I hear something and think it is terrible what should I do about it. Everyone has opinions.

It isn't like i went and smashed their computer and said Your music fricking sucks you a-hole.

Of course I give my friends shite. What does that have to do with anything? On the other hand, I'm not a dick to my friends and make them feel inferior because they don't have my taste in music, which is clearly the best.

Thank you Peazey for helping me see the light.

I only play slappers only in golden eye.

Theres a line between giving friend's shite and being a dick.

The dick part comes in when you say stuff that is mean and personal. My roommate does not know the difference. I've had to set him straight a number of times.

I feel like this is very common. I've never seen someone call so many people out in public than one of my old one roomies.

After about the 6th time I suffered through a coworker telling me that Jason Aldean is the best country artist right now I finally had to tell him that I'd rather be stabbed in the face with a soldering iron than hear one more second of a Jason Aldean song.

That is pretty much what I was asking. Is there any way to make it stop without being a dick so that he will not want to discuss it any more at all.

I tried. Told him numerous times that I just didn't care for him. He caught me in a bad mood one day and proceeded to annoy me further. I was probably a little too rude.

I was about at that point this morning, due to little sleep and some traffic on the ride in. Decided to make this thread instead of starting to rant.
