sucks we lost, but it wasn't too depressing a loss. we outplayed them (though that was largely due to Moyes' tactics after going up), just couldn't get a goal. thought kos in particular played very well. TV5 was surprisingly good too. stupid set pieces.

i can't wait for theo to be back. we haven't even scratched the surface with Özil due to our no winger formation. when gnabry came on, his pace had an instant impact. he should have come on for santi instead of beowulf.

speaking of beowulf, considering the players we should get back after the international break, that may well have been his final appearance for Arsenal. good riddance. he was/is awful. as thenry stated so perfectly:

quote:

At first it was funny to bring him off the bench during garbage time. Like ultimate insult funny. Now it's just ultimately insulting.

can't help but wonder how we would have done with Jack instead of Flamini starting, but oh well. hindsight and what not.

some barca guy is saying Arsene has representatives in Barcelona to negotiate the transfer of Pedro. 99.9% likely to be BS, but i'd take that in a heartbeat. would fit so well with this squad.

Vermalaen did well except for the goal. Giroud defended the header but I expect our CB to be covering RVP instead of just standing there. Also didn't like that he took that free kick. He's been out a while and if he insisted on taking it then at least drive the sucker low with that left foot and hope for a deflection.
