ETA: But I did set a guy straight at the bar after the game last night about Les Miles.
"Anybody in the SEC can recruit, we need a guy who can win championships" I heard him say.
"Les wins against everyone, only person who has bettered him is Saban by what, 2 wins? Saban beats every other team more than he beats LSU. So which coach would do better than Miles?"
No answer, because nobody would do better against saban than Miles.

The way I see it, the NCAA freshman of the year missed a routine ground ball, a pitcher left a 3-2 pitch with 2 outs up in the zone, and a guy who has performed unreal in his career left damn near a dozen on base in the last game. Don't over think the strategies.

Just because they are being criticized doesn't mean people want them fired.
This. We have a group of fans who are so damn touchy feely sensitive that they take any kind of criticism of a coach to be blasphemy.
Some criticism may well be warranted.

Hey, it's the Rant...its what we do best.
It is a tad amusing to have the most successful coach in LSU football history and one the top 5 coaches in the game today based on results get called out as regularly as he does.
Makes me want to ask, did these unhappy with this or unhappy with that guys just start following LSU football in 2002?
Cause if they that unhappy with the last 10 yrs of LSU football as some come across, they must have been in freaking misery mode before 2002.

Nobody wants Les fired. Some people just equate criticism with wanting people to get fired. Hyper-sensitivity

We've been delusioned into thinking Les is a good coach because of the 2 loss NC. We lost to Arky and Kentucky that year. It was a freak year. We can get a better coach.

You mean 85-21, 49-19, the best record in BCS football and best record in SEC football since 05, is all a delusion???
Damn and I was so happy thinking LSU football was finally an elite program nationally and in the SEC.
