Dumbest decision that the best coaches in the world continuously make, year after year.

-How many times do teams win after making a FT, purposely missing the next, getting the offensive board, then hitting a shot to win or go into OT? (Not very often, if ever)
-How many times do teams hit a 3pointer to win the game or send it into OT? (a helluva lot more often than the scenario above)

I will never understand the reasoning behind not fouling in that situation. Just cost Timmy his 5th ring....

Yep Pop is by far the best coach in the leauge, but I don't understand that decision one bit.

And continuously putting Manu in on offense cost them as well. I cringe every time that guy dribbles or passes. For every positive play he makes, he does 3 dumbass plays to make up for it

Too much time left to call for a foul on the 3 attempt by LeBron. Should have fouled Bosh on the rebound though.

Not having Parker in that last play is almost as bad

He gave it away when he benched Duncan in the last 10 seconds.

Taking Parker and Duncan out and letting Lebron go buck wild in the 4th.

Taking out Duncan on the Heat's last 2 possessions of the 4th.

Taking out Parker at the end of OT.

Letting Ginobli play more than 30 seconds.

Pop is one of the greatest of all time but he made some really baffling decisions late in this game.

Sitting Duncan and Parker for an extended period of time to start the 4th quarter of a close out game? Leaving Manu Ginobili out there when he clearly was garbage?

Also didn't call time out only down 1 pt and could have had the last shot, instead he wants Manu to push the attack inside... dumb mistake

good point and I agree. Pop made a few huge mistakes tonight IMO. I don't know why he took Duncan out on the last possession in regulation, Bosh may not have gotten that rebound with Duncan there.

Cost Indiana Game 1 against Miami in the ECF when Vogel took out Hibbert, and now the Spurs Game 6...

Yeah don't understand why coaches take out their big men when defending the three point line. It's not like Duncan doesn't have the athleticism to guard the perimeter for like 10 seconds.
