As I grew up and became more worldly in the ways of whores, there have been a lot of these "aha" moments:
Miss Kitty from Gunsmoke is the one that really floored me. She was a Madame, a dance hall girl, what ever you want to call it, she was whore dammit! There goes my childhood.

I just started watching it. when the kid finds his mom's diaphragm and asks if they should drink out of it. I love the double standard how this is a sweet movie but if it was a male pulling out his junk for horny teen girls, it'd be looked at very differently.
