Mason. Loved your attitude. Loved your passion for the game. You played fearless in Omaha. You and this team certainly made your mark.

Wish you nothing but the best.

I didn't want to start a thread about this but I figured this thread would be a good spot for me to say this and I hope I get some feedback..

I didn't get to watch the game but I did listen to the whole game at work and the 9th inning on my way home... I'm 25 years old and have played baseball my whole life but never on the level that these kids did.. when ibarra struck out to end the game my heart immediately sank for the seniors on this team.. after the game, for me, it was about the feeling the players had knowing that they'll never play with the same group of guys again in their life.. I didn't care about finding the first flaw in our game plan for this part of the tournament... I wasn't looking to point fingers at someone for us not producing like we all thought/hoped they would..

when this game ended, for a few moments I put myself in THEIR shoes and truly got emotional for them... I wish every single one of these kids the best, in life and in baseball.. this is a special group

this message from Katz proves that

thanks for everything boys, you have nothing to be ashamed of
