Okay, so I see Encore has added all the old bond films to their collection of movies this month.

Is this worth watching? I like Peter Sellers...

Quirky. IMO, worth it.

Do you like Woody Allen?

Amazing soundtrack (the most 1960's soundtrack of all time)

Quirky 1960's humor. Multiple directors directing the different segments, and it shows.

I love it. Have the DVD, keep it on my DVR as well.

Most of it is awful -- Sellers is pretty much wasted. He was super-difficult to work with and quit/was fired during filming. David Niven was hired in an attempt to create a story line that would use the Sellers footage. This is why the plot is so choppy and incoherent.

However Woody Allen apparently wrote most of his own dialogue, and some of his jokes are very funny.

The story of the film's production (Sellers' feud with Orson Welles, dozens of writers working on the script including Joseph Heller and Billy Wilder) is more interesting than the film itself.

Film snobs take note: a fascinating article detailing the screenwriting process on Casino Royale
