during the heat streak someone posted about the heat coasting and I replied "well if they take a few nights off, they won't be laughing when games 6 and 7 of the finals are on somebody else's court"

the heat obliged, and went from a few games behind OKC and the Spurs to having the best record in the NBA by the end of the streak.

and now the Heat get one of the biggest advantages in sports, games 6 and 7 of the Finals in Miami. the trophy will be in the building.

the spurs might be the sentimental favorite but the heat absolutely have the best player on the floor with the crowd behind him.

I just think it will be hard as hell for the spurs and I give them a 40 percent chance of winning a game. role players like danny green and kawhi leonard typically don't show up on the road like they did at san antonio

i'm a little worried that San Antonio is built to outlast but is incapable of outplaying Miami at their best

so far, what suggests the heat will be able to play back to back games at their best?

Spurs:14-2 in potential series-clinching games played on the road since start of the 2002-03 postseason.

Rest of NBA: 61-75 in that span.

we can slice and dice this all you want, at the end of this, Lebron will be a 3 time Finals Loser and only have 2/3rds of a ring.

when he's got no help, aww he's got no help.

when he gets help, he scores 13 points in the last 2 minutes of a game up by 21 vs a D league lineup to up his stats and boost his pathetic self confidence.
