It's good. I don't necessarily like the direction, but if his past is any indication, this will probably be one of the songs he puts out first to attract the bulk of his previous followers. Still holding out hope that he has some great guitar tracks on this next one.

Has more of his older style to it. I love it actually. For a single, and what would go under his "pop stuff", this is damn good.

I can agree with that. It's definitely good, but I loved Continuum and the Trio stuff (Where The Light Is in particular). That's what I want to hear out of him. That was his peak thus far, in my opinion.

My favorites also, and has definitely been his best stuff. I love Born and Raised, and would put it behind the above. I think this album will be a combination of Continuum and some southern rock style (Allman bros. Grateful Dead, etc.) He hasn't had a bad album, and continues to make quality stuff, I expect nothing less from the guy.

Battle Studies was pretty rough. I think he even admitted it wasn't his best effort.
