Napa recommendations:
Wineries to see:
Cakebread
Stag's Leap
Chateau Montelena
Duckhorn
Jarvis
Wineries that didn't do it for me:
Artesa
Domain Carneros
Round Pond
If you can, try to eat at least lunch at Bouchon in Yountville. Morimoto has a restaurant in Napa proper that is very good as well. If you want to blow everything in one place on a meal, get reservations for the balcony seating at L'Auberge Du Soleil. Some of the best scenery in the valley.
I'm interested to hear what others have to say about Sonoma, as my wife and I are currently planning a trip in August.
