I really felt we would get him after his visit went so well. Really excited. I think he will play SG here and immediately start at the 2 after Stringer graduates. Wish we had him for this coming season, but he will be a very good addition for the future.

Hornsby is a solid pickup for LSU. I've seen him play a few times. He's not flashy, but when he's hot he can fill up the nets from 3. May not become a starter, but will be a quality sub at either guard position off the bench. He'll enjoy having teammates taller than 6'7" playing center and forward, that's for sure.
