Has anyone been to Opaque in San Francisco?

Apparently it's a restaurant where you eat in the dark? I have a friend going to San Francisco and she politely asked me to "ask the messageboards" for some reviews.
TIA

I think they have one is Dallas. I might be wrong, but they have blind people helping you eat.
Really weird concept, never got the chance to go.

Have not heard of this place. Kind of a weird concept.

I think this is the same thing. I checked the menu out and it seems like they have good food.

having the taste be consistent with the visual part is important to me. I enjoy the pavlovian effect of looking at the food before tasting it. I just yelped it out of curiosity. What about stuff that needs to be cut at the table? I wonder how that works. The pictures of pitch blackness of people's meals are kind of funny though.
