Will MMA ever have tag-team matches or Royal Rumble type events?

I know it wouldn't fly in the US but why don't they do something like this in Japan? Admit it...it would make the sport WAY more fun to watch. I already like MMA but this would make it even more awesome!

No way...that would ruin the UFC and true fight fans would never watch again.

I never suggested the UFC do it!

As long as its only one person in the ring at a time, maybe.

I found a couple of local events but nothing with elite talent.

No I want like a BIG battle! Like the Royal Rumble in WWE. 2 guys start out and then 1 more runs out every 2 minutes until 20 guys have come out! You can get tapped, TKO'ed or KO'ed. It would be so awesome!

I would definitely watch it, but it would never happen.

And if Japan did it then I would only watch it if it took minimal effort (less than 2 mouse-clicks) and no cost.

It would be so fricking dangerous.

Someone would be seriously injured within the first couple times they did it.

Nobody with elite talent will ever do this. Too much of a risk.

I loved the old Pride tournaments. But it seems like the companies who spend weeks promoting one championship fight make more money.
