No doubt we swung at lots of balls high in the zone and above the zone.

Many times hitters see those as mistakes or gifts and punish them.
Not just with home runs, but all over the field.

That didn't happen last night.
Might have had something to do with how good their pitcher was, just maybe.


Every time we face an ace pitcher and he keeps us low scoring and with few hits, people have to bring in the old "stop swinging for the fence.... why don't we try to hit singles?"
crap.

I'm sure none of our coaches or hitters thought of hitting singles last night.

All they had to do was tell them to stop swinging at it, right?

I mean it isn't like hitters have chased pitches out of their hitting zone since the beginning of time or anything.

CPM should have yelled at Katz for hitting that homerun.

He made all of our other hitters think they were going to hit two homers each.
