Nominee for the Brooks Wallace Award - Best shortstop in the country.

Hitting .380 and has eclipsed the program record for hits in a freshman season with 104.

First-team All-SEC.

National Freshman of the Year by both the NCBWA and Baseball America.

Leads LSU in runs (59), doubles (18), triples (7) and steals (16), to go along with 6 home runs and 52 RBIs.

Maybe if you'd have been watching him all year long you'd see how dumb that comment was. He's made amazing plays all year long.

So you avoided the hell out of that one huh! He won all of those awards b/c of his bat obviously. I think he is an OK fielder but his is only a freshman. He has caused us to not turn alot of double plays and made some huge errors this yr. There is no denying that but I blame the loss on the hitting not the errors. Had we just been able to put up 3 measely runs nobody would give a shite about the errors!

So those awards are for batting? Please go back to watching the girls volleyball team and stay away from the baseball program.
