Benton Moss(UNC) How good is he?

Decent fastball big loopy curveball. About as good as the rest of their ragarms.

All it takes is high fastballs in this park. Our players apparently cant lay off them and our coaches dont seem to tell them to lay off them.

It looks like he can be touched up....I'm guessing with that 8-1 recored he has gotten some decent run support but also has 5 NDs.

If we are on and patient we should be able to get to him....we just need to hold down their bats. It appears they are banking on their hitting talent outplaying our hitting talent....we shall see what happens.

Is something wrong with Trent Thornton? Why would he not get the call for game 2?

Moss would hopefully give them 5 then turn it over to Thornton. That's how they pieced the USCe game together. I doubt our matchup will differ too much.

Benton has been their number 2 starter the whole year.

Thornton is a much better arm at the moment. That was his point.

Eades has been our number 2, but we will mostly probably start Glenn. Thornton's numbers are way better than Moss'

Thorntons had better numbers all year and they've still been mostly using him as their Second Half guy on Sundays after Hobbs Johnson.
