Shaq, Magic, and Tiki Barber all come to mind. Not only are they bad, they are painful to watch. Who else ya got?

Emmitt Smith is the only answer.

welp, I won't lie, the first name I thought of was Matt Millen. He was certainly more charismatic than Barber as a player but I actually find his commentary to be full of rip roaring humor.

the worst ever.
No doubt. He has nothing to contribute. He gets way too excited and spits out unintelligible half-sentences, he laughs and yells, and he always sounds hoarse.

Throw in the fact that he has a history of drug problems and you wonder how the frick he got that job.

Warren Sapp toed the line pretty well on Inside the NFL, just kidding.

He is no longer on the show... that really used to be a quality show.

to be fair, it wasn't any better without him this past year.

I'm pretty sure I've seen Irvin cracked out before on the show. I'm sure there is a gif of it somewhere.

I liked when Strahan was interviewed as a player but he is insufferable on NFL on Fox and Regis and Kelly.

I don't mind Strahan on FOX. I had no idea he was on Regis and Kelly... who the frick is Kelly?

Terry Bradshaw does a decent job on the highlight reels during halftime but he's always been an easy target. I'm sure he'll get nominated a bunch.

I love Terry but he does tend to play it up and act extra stupid to play a character.

I'm pretty sure Ray Lewis is going to be terrible.

color commentary ability is inversely proportional to the former player's talent/all-star level

limited exceptions apply
