I love basketball, but I would shoot myself if I had to see a 21-game series.

Your friend is an idiot. The best team wins in a 7 game series.

Miami has better individual talent and marketable superstars yet San Antonio has the better team. All the pieces function correctly and they have the best coach in the NBA. And to me Duncan is the best player in his generation.

Green is shooting 3's at 70%

That is unheard of...

The 3 ball has been the difference in this series

SA stole game one with a fluke shot by Parker...Hopefully SA gets cold on Miami, otherwise, this is a tough deal even at home

Of course he's correct, one team has home court advantage.

No team has won a game 7 on the road in the finals, correct?

I know a better record grants a team that privilege, but that has nothing to do with which is the better team right now.

It's not a fluke when he does it throughout his whole career. I've got a new respect for Parker after watching him this series. The guy can put up some amazing shots in the paint when well defended

We find out who the better team is this week.

Miami wins twice, they are better. Spurs win once they are better. That is why we have a series and not a single game between two teams in the NBA playoffs.

The idea of a team having HC advantage in a 7 game series and losing yet still being a better team is comical. The better team wins a 7 game series.

I also don't buy that Miami is clearly more talented than San Antonio. Lebron is the best player in the league but the Spurs have a very deep and balanced roster. There really are no holes in it and they can play big or small, fast or slow.

This is truly a matchup of the best 2 teams in the league by a good margin. The only blemish is SA lost some regular season games in the latter part of the season to lose the #1 seed but that had a lot to do with Parker's injury and Pop's not giving a damn about the regular season. Any time the Spurs played a 4th in 5 it was a "clear the bench" situation for instance.

After every Spurs win - everyone talks about the Spurs being the better team.

After every Heat win - everyone talks about the Heat being the best and just too much for the Spurs to handle over the series.

NBA fans apparently have no idea how predictable and repetitive they are.
