quote:My son has always been one of the youngest (if not THE youngest) on the field at his classification. Even when he played youth football, he was one of the biggest but still one of the youngest. And I MADE him play up with the 9 and 10 yr olds when he had just turned 8 because of his size! He will be a senior this year, but he will just turn 17 next week! He will still be 17 when he graduates and reports to college! I know a bunch of kids at various schools who are a year older than him and a grade less than him! But everyone talks about how great they are! Sorry, I know I'm in the minority on this, but I say publicize their age along with their classification so we get the true picture of their feats!
unfortunately the majority don't realize what is happening...... heck.. that good soph lineman ya'll have is young enough to be an 8th grader at some schools...

Wildman, you do know that Uhigh played Curtis in the playoffs about 2 seasons ago. I don't remember the score (like 62-7) but I remember Curtis kicking field goals on 2nd and 3rd down, trying not to run up the score.
