I don't get the 10 win seasons bullshite. You should be contending for a title every season at LSU just like Alabama has come to expect now.

we have been. we werent out if the sec west race until bama beat auburn the last game if the season. i fully exoect us to contend. but bama seriously git a boost with the rematch. they wouldnt be considered on a brink if a dynasty without the rematch.

LSU doesnt necessarily have recruiting advantages. some places in LA are closer to tuscaloosa than baton rouge. Bama is smack in the middke if sec territory. distance would never be a factor fir them, well minus texas, but they are closer to georgia and florida, the most fertile recruiting states in the south.

we also dont have better academics or facilities than any of the top programs. baton rouge outside of campus is a dump. im actually amazed with the Job les has done. we recruit nationally now and are bringing in more talent than ever and have our name on more talented players lists than most programs in the country. that says a lot.

the biggest thing, Louisiana just hasnt put out great qbs. Yeah there have been a few here and there, RP was supposed to be the one and we had no shot at the mannings. This has been a big problem for us.

The Mannings were already a done deal long before and with RP things happen. Louisiana traditionally has always been a QB rich state. Just things recently haven't been the greatest. Miles has continued what Saban started and that is the good thing. As for BR being a dump I would say Tuscaloosa is not much better. No, my main point is that LSU being the only big program in LA and always bringing in top talent from the state and surrounding areas should always be in the hunt for a national title just like Bama.

Yeah, right! Monroe to Tuscaloosa is 300 miles compared to Monroe to B.R.is just 186. Try again.
