How far from Cocodrie? Is it past Martins?

I was joking to keep the riff raff Artie's way. We went to Mardi gras on June 1. Had it to ourselves, pulled up guy throws inside rig bam, 18" trout then nothing. Move, hardheads every cast, move again pick up a handful, let out some more anchor line a few more. Guy gets backlash, trout pulls it out. Old bass pro on boat figures it out and then it was on, filled the live well up. My point is they are nearly always there, it's a matter of figuring out what they want and how they want it. When its crowded its hard to do. Water was crap out there that day, don't think we had a foot of vis.

Why times does the bait shop open? I'll probably be trucking down there around 4.

Usually around 5Am, but sometimes they are slow. If they haven't opened by 5:15, call the number on the sign.

I used to stop on the way down while they were putting the boats in the water. You can always find the Tracie Macy, just follow the line of boats, I'll be there.

Friday morn we didnt run too far. Was a little rougher then expected. Finished with 20 trout, 3 reds, 1 bull red, flounder, and black drum. Good little trip.
