For those in South Livingston Junior's Meat Market has a sale this weekend.

21 day dry aged bone-in ribeyes for $9.99 lb. They are between French Settlement and Port Vincent on Hwy 16, next to the Moonlight Inn. These are some steaks that I have got from them in the past.

Selection isn't great, but they do smoke some meat. I like the sausage and jerky and my wife likes the head cheese. They carry more beef than anything, some pork and very little chicken. They normally have dry aged filets, and ribeyes.

ETA, just looked at their Facebook page, they also appear to have dry aged t bones also...

May have to check that out. My in laws are good friends with junior and his wife, but I'm never in that area.

They were very good. Those are ones I picked up about 6 weeks ago...

Is Porche's still open out that way? I think I remember hearing that Donald was having some health issues a while back.
