Tiki Tubing--worth it, over hyped or just plain trashy?

So my SO wants to go Tiki Tubing on Saturday with a group of her friends. The weather looks amazing for fishing but I've fished almost every weekend for the last two months.

I can skip Tiki tubing and fish and start a fight or I can go and either be miserable if it sucks or go have an awesome time.

What's the skinny on this Livingston Parish mecca?

I always have fun. Just go with a big group and get completely smashed while floating on a tube. Overpriced but idgaf

All 3, really.

It's expensive, but if you can find a coupon, it's a decent value for a day of fun. Don't go expecting a Salt River float, though, it's the Amite. As for the last part, again, it's the Amite. Definitely a lot of white trash out there.

Just know I'm in the woods with a pellet gun shooting the tubes of all the trashy mothafrickas I see tossing trash in the water.

just go to walmarks and get a bunch of the gumball machine ones. They should last all day, then you can go back to work, you are going to need a clorox bath anyway.

Bogue Chitto Water Park near McComb, MS. Much clearer water, not chocolate milk, no creepy local photographers hiding in the bushes, and better scenery...
Gator's Tubing
Bogue Chitto Water Park

You can also catch the same river in Bogalusa, LA

That's my biggest torture fear: Non satellite radio. It is just ahead of nipple clamps.

You can rent ice chest radios with 1/8" auxiliary inputs... You just have to make sure none of your group invites annoying bros and hoes. Shitheads never contribute to rent it, but then always complain about our non-top 40 musical selections.

Keep up the good work. I know I'm safe. My group always ends up bringing back about 3 times what we take out there.

All true, but you have to emphasize:

Tiki Tubing is only a 20 minute drive for most.

so what exactly do you do at this tiki tubing place? do you just float the river and get drunk? or is it just a bar on the river?

Pretty much. This is after you have to have thunderdome with 20 affliction shirt guys to get you and your wife a tube.

Agreed, though the time we went the following occurred:
1. Were warned by locals about consuming alchohol in the river (hidden cops).
2. Saw folks who were straight from The Hills have Eyes. I.E. pregnant women in bikinis.....smoking.

Other than that it was really nice, and it wasn't overly crowded.
