Before spending $95-300/hour on a fee only financial advisor, I'd send them to an FPU Class. (I know, it's Dave Ramsey, blah blah blah) but it's a great place for a young couple to start. They'll get on the same financial page ( so important for couples early on) and they'll get a good core/basic financial education that can easily be built on as they get older. It will serve them well when they become serious about investing.

Just my 2 cents.

I agree. I charge $100 an hour and I think I'm on the cheap side.
